Wedding venue questions

To arrange a visit, you can visit our book a visit page on our website and select a suitable date and time using our visit calendar. Alternatively, if you want to speak to our team directly, call 01866 866 586.

Your initial payment is £750 of your venue hire fee plus your inital catering payment of £1,000 (inclusive of VAT).

Once you have been to visit you will receive via email, log on details to our booking portal which can be found here. Remember to book your registrar or Church, details of which are found in these questions.

Music in the Great Barn will turn off at 11pm, but you and your guests are invited to move into the Drinking Trough where you and your guests can relax and reminisce on what a wonderful day you’ve all had. The bar closes at 11.30pm and the venue closes at midnight. We ask that all guests who aren’t staying the night have pre-booked taxis to collect them by midnight.

Ceremony – Our maximum daytime capacities vary depending on where you’d like to get married. For ceremonies taking place in the Gallery, the maximum capacity is 120. For ceremonies held in the Great Barn, the maximum capacity is 200.

Dining – We can host up to 180 for the Wedding Breakfast in the Great Barn.

Dancing – Our maximum evening capacity is 200.

Accommodation – Crumplebury has 10 bedrooms in The Farms and Coppices (sleeping 20 guests) plus The Oakley, our fabulous honeymoon suite, for the newly married couple. We also have the Longfield Cottage that has an additional two bedrooms (sleeping up to four guests).

Yes, you can get ready in The Prep Studio from 9 am on the morning of your wedding. Use of the space is included in your venue hire fee. Inside The Prep Studio, there are three styling stations, and we recommend a maximum of six people at any one time. We also have an additional preparation space if your partner would like to get ready onsite separately.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible, however we do have a range of delicious grazing boards available for you to enjoy as well as bottles of Champagne or prosecco for your wedding morning celebrations.

We love (well-behaved) dogs and appreciate that they are a huge part of your family. They are welcome to join you for the ceremony and photographs, but they must be taken off-site after this and before the wedding breakfast. If you wish to bring your dog(s) along, please ask to see our dog policy.

Crumplebury is accessible for wheelchair users and has an accessible toilet. Three bedrooms (including The Oakley) are accessible.

A fantastic team of in-house chefs provide all of our catering. It is not possible to use your own caterers.

We strongly recommend that you take out wedding insurance. Weddings are a big investment, and fingers crossed that you’ll never need to call on your insurance, but having it in place will cover you for a range of eventualities.

We can host executive meetings and intimate client dinners for 20 right through to product launches and awards ceremonies for 200 or more. Please contact us to discuss pricing for your event.

This will vary depending on your event type, but our maximum capacity is 200 guests.

We do not allow outside caterers at Crumplebury. However, we are more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu that perfectly fits your vision.

Crumplebury is accessible for wheelchair users and has an accessible toilet.

Yes, we are happy for you to use your own suppliers for everything apart from catering and drinks.

Our à la carte menu provides endless opportunities to combine dishes and create something unique. If you would prefer something completely bespoke, our chefs would be delighted to work with you to create something unique.

It is not possible to bring any food and drink into the venue other than a wedding cake, confectionery (which must be in the original sealed containers in which they were purchased), and edible favours with allergens clearly labelled. Please speak with our team if you need any further clarification.

You can work with our bar team to create bespoke cocktails for your event.

Yes! No matter what stage of your wedding journey, you are encouraged to attend one of our Chef’s Tables, held each season to reflect our seasonal menus, where you can experience our food, drink and service first hand. You are encouraged to invite family and friends along to also experience what we have to offer! See here for more information.

Crumplebury is proud to support Magic Breakfast, a charity that provides free, nutritious breakfasts to children who might otherwise start the day hungry. At your final Planning Meeting, you’ll have the option to add a small, voluntary donation if you wish.

Approaching from the east (Worcester and Birmingham)

  • Ignore your SatNav and drive past the turning into Whitbourne Village.
  • 500 yards further along the A44, take the right turning, signposted “Crumplebury”.
  • Continue for 1.5 miles.
  • You’ll pass fields, cottages and farm animals a plenty. Don’t panic, you’re nearly there!
  • Having crossed your third cattle grid, keep the woods on your right hand-side and take a final right turn towards Crumplebury.

Approaching from the West (Bromyard and Hereford)

  • Turn left off the A44 in Bromyard onto the B4203.
  • Continue along the B4203 for 2 miles.
  • Take the right turning, signposted “Crumplebury”.
  • (Look out for a stone cottage on the left-hand side and a red brick cottage on the right).
  • Continue for 1.5 miles.
  • You’ll drive down a very steep hill and past several farm houses.
  • Don’t panic, you’re nearly there!

We have 52 car parking spaces at Crumplebury. Cars can be left overnight but must be collected by 10am the next morning. We do not allow caravans or motorhomes to stay in our car park overnight.

Yes! Our venue offers EV charging stations on-site. They are compatible with most EVs. Simply scan the QR code on site to start using.

Our bar is usually open ahead of a wedding ceremony. Please note that the bar closes 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Please speak to the wedding couple about the exact timings of the day.
